Easy disable Home Button (only for Wake up phone ) in Samsung galaxy s4 i9500 4.4.4, But in 5.0.1 I don't know how to ?

RMA Process and Home Button Issues

So I recently completed the whole Oneplus tech help song and dance (answered a ton of questions, did the remote session with L2 support, wiped phone, etc). Now I'm schedule for an RMA for my Oneplus 2 - the phone gets sent out tomorrow.

Has anyone RMA'd their OnePlus 2 and received one without a home button issue (grounding issue)? I'm debating not opening the RMA'd device and ordering a Nexus 6P, but really want to give Oneplus a chance. So I was wondering what other peoples' experiences were.

Micromax a37 nothing appears by pressing any button but it is detected by computer.

I am using micromax a37 bolt and it has only 107MB internal so I rooted it and used Link2sd app for putting every app into sd card and I did it but after doing that I ran into some problem with all apps suddenly stopped and I will end up factory resetting every time. This time I used mounts2sd and I created the startup script and init.d. When I rebooted for mounting the sd card second partition, it booted for more than 10 minutes so I factory resetted it. But after resetting also when I tried to boot, it boots for a long time. So I thought of flashing the stock ROM and I used it with sp flash tool but I get an error S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032). Now the phone does not show up anything when I pressed the power button or any combination but when I connect it to my computer it is detected and the sp tool gives same error. During the flash I first tried with a37 stock ROM but second time I wrongly downloaded a37b stock ROM from another site but I got the same error in both cases. I tried different sp flash tool versions. Here is the logs from Sp flash tool.

[HELP] back button / key stop working after stock rom installation

I always used custom roms CM,

i flash stock rom I9505XXUHOH2_I9505TPHHOI1_I9505XXUHOH2
and now my back button / key don't work.

any fix ?

O button work like back button in most emulators!

First I love my xperia play and I feel sad that no company done another cel like this with hidden buttons =\

. Recently I installed some emulators from google play like mame, Final burn,etc
and the O button works just like the back button from our phone and that makes the emulator close as usual. There's no config in changing this in emulators config options. I can let the O button as blank if I want, but I want use it!

For example: Street fighter 2 has 6 buttons in arcade weak punch, mid punch, strong punch, weak kick, mid kick, strong kick.
I want use all my 6 buttons in my xperia play to be like this
weak punch -Square
mid punch - L
strong punch - Triangle
weak kick- X
mid kick - R
strong kick - O

but if I press the O button, the emulator close instead simulate the strong kick.

Anybody knows how to fix thix?
I heard that in other android games(no emulators) this happen too.

How to unroot phone without having a volume down button

I have an acer liqduid E2 with a custom rom from Bonell and i'd like to reset my phone to the original ROM.
Unfortunately my volume down button is broken.

Nexus 4 wont boot to bootloader/recovery after bootloop even with h/w button combos. Heres what happened:

It was a rooted and unlocked phone running 4.4.4. It couldnt update via OTA. So i thought of unrooting + flashing the stock but with the latest lmy48m using WUG's Nexus Root toolkit. After installation it went on to boot (4 dots flying) . It went on for 10 minutes and thought that it went to bootloop again( ive tried similar things on it before and waited for a night etc. ) . So i tried the hardware button combination (power off then Vol - & Power button combo for bootloader mode and Vol + & - & Power) to go to bootloader/recovery mode but all it does is get to the Google boot screen and go to the bootloop mode. . Then i left it to boot again overnight and its still the same.. I tried a lot of times to get to the bootloader mode and recovery mode with no hope. My pc doesnt recognise in fastboot or adb since then.. Just as MTP device in boot or android device when charging. Searched through a lot of forums but nothing worked.. Tried to remove the back cover and then pressing the button combos - still the same.. What to do next?

How to add reboot or screen recoder things when pressing power button

Hello guys.
This thread only for stock user .as we all know in stock rom when we press power button then there only power off option. So today ill share method to add commands like reboot,reboot to recovery, e.t.c
1. U need a rooted phone
2.xposed installed
3.browse to download module in xposed three search for (APM+) Android power menu.
4.Then activate and reboot
5.Then open (APM+) there you'll option to add commands there choose what you want to add..

When I press any keyboard button will go to Settings screen first.

Both on stock 4.2.1 and OmniROM 5.1.1 I got a problem with keyboard dock. Sometimes, when I press any keyboard button, then it will go to Settings screen first.
For example, after unlocking lock screen, I press the Down button, then it will go to Settings screen, after that, I just can use keyboard normally without go to Settings screen.

Is this a known issue or it's normal? Thanks for any help. :)

Reboot Loop, No Power Button

Recently my Galaxy S2 got shut into a reboot loop, which would be alright, if I had a functiong power button. Wthout the power button, I can't enter recovery mode to restore the phone. I've already tried to use ADB Fastboot, but since I have been getting the MTP USB Device driver failure, ADB won't notice my phone.
Any suggestions?

Problem:
a) BT-Headset and BT-Keyboards: play/pause buttons do two things
1. play/pause
2. and additionaly: show "all homescreens I have in small ones" and when I push again I get the full homescreen

Solution:
I think I have to deaktivate my hardware Homebutton for the entire Androidsystem.

So I hope that the mediabuttons of the Headset/Keyboards will only do its job play/pause

Thats why I buyed the app "button remapper". But why do I get only the mediabuttons (look at the screenshot)?

Can you explain it. And can you tell my how to deactivate the hardware homebutton? is ther a solution via an Xposed plugin or somothing like that?

Hi, I've just found a pretty mockup of Windows 10 Mobile here and wanted to ask you whether it would be possible to tweak the system in the way that it lights up the menu buttons when there's a notification pending? How do you think?

Dead power button. Need Triangleaway to work and return phone to the store.

It is hard trying to find any tar files on this forum to flash via odin. I Just need a package (with cmw touch) in tar format, so I can flash into odin. But I need the package to allow me to use triangle away. I don't understand why triangle away doesn't work. It assumes my phone isnt rooted and suggests I create a dump file to upload here.. I used it before a few years ago on a different ROM. Please help, because I am flashing back n forth and I can't navigate on this forum or find archives with files. I think the old triangleaway was more compatible.

Xenon HD power button problem

I've been having some problems with my phone, my wifi kept breaking (not switching on) but I have fixed that.

However when i press the power button instead of any of the reboot menus the phone just soft reboots. I've tried diabling and re enabling the advanced reboot menu vut that didn't work.

Any other suggestions before I wipe and reinstall? :confused:
