Need Help Urgent soft brick

My friend gave me his mob. because he flash some wrong recovery and its dosent boot only Black Screen After i flashed one stock firmware through odin now its only shows Samsung logo.

P.S : when i flash these roms all roms flashed successfully with Blue Pass LOGO

[Q] Need advice on choosing a ROM

Hello.

I need advice/suggestions on choosing a Rom for my Samsung Galaxy S 4 (I9505/jfltexx). What I am looking for is a ROM that is stable and actively maintained with regards to bug and security fixes, preferably AOSP based. I have no need for neither all sorts of bells and whistles, fancy eye candy nor bleeding edge features. Rushing to the latest major android version is not a priority, having my phone fully working is, though.

Here is some "background data" om me in the hope of providing a more complete picture of what I am looking for based on my previous use/experience.
I have owned 3 android capable devices. HTC Legend, Samsung Galaxy SII and Samsung Galaxy S 4. One can argue these have been poor choice of devices but it is what it is. I have been running mainly Cyanogenmod since 6.1 I believe on all devices. Fact is, flashing CM has been one of the first thing I have done after buying a new device as I tend to "gag" on HTCs and Samsungs firmware. The first few years I used to tinker about with the devices a lot, flashing stable, RC, milestone and nightlies, different ROMs/kernels frequently but always found my way back to fairly default CM. It has been a bumpy ride on CM (yes, I realize this is in part due to my choise of devices) and while I am not here to lash out at CM in general, recent choices from the CM team and increasingly inconsistent support for my current device leads me to looking for alternatives while really appreciating the sheer amount of great work the CM team have done over the years.
So, what drew me towards CM in the first place? Well, mostly the flexibility/customizability of the ROM and the power/control I felt I had of it, the openness of it and what once was an active, positive community around it. Admittedly, SenseUI and TouchWiz probably pushed me towards it as well. The most recent year or two I have moved a bit away from tinkering and have had a higher need for a stable and maintained ROM that "just works".

I had decided to go for OmniROM, it seemed to be a decent alternative but I am under the impression that my device is no longer supported. Have been considering CopperheadOS as well.
Anyway, I open to suggentions.

Need Odin root for SM-T807A (ATT)

I picked up a used tablet with a broken screen and managed to get some parts swapped out and get it booting.. but it hangs at the boot logo.. The original donor was supposed to have been rooted but may have been soft bricked.

Thinking I can odin the kernel and OS to the latest version (or even stock ATT kernel and OS).

I downloaded/installed Odin 3 v1.85 and the pit that comes with it is u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4

anyone have a pit and bin or tar that I can use to either reload to stock or better yet, load the latest/best kernel and version of android. I'd prefer root, but I'm ok with stock/clean wipe/reload of everything.

I can get it to boot to download mode if there's another way in (download.zip?).. but I can't get into the OS to do anything other then 'factory wipe' and it just hangs at the logo. (waited for a day)

I've never used this type of tablet before (familiar with the nexus, note, etc..) so maybe it's even hardware locked. Appreciate any input you can offer. The tablet is a Frankenstein of parts or I'd take it in for service.. pretty sure that's not covered under warranty..

[Q] Tmo Samsung S4 (SGH-M919) with Google Play Edition, need help

I have a rooted S4 and just installed Dandvh's Google Play Edition v.20150919 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2539361) rom. I used TWRP to install, wiping everything but internal storage, then flashed the rom. Installed fine, no errors. Took the usual bit of extra time to boot the first time then up and running clean and stable. The issue is that the OTA Updater app doesn't work, severely limiting my ROM options. It didn't install as part of the rom install, though I'm not sure if it's normal to just get it off the play store. I get an error message about not being compatible with the ROM and can't access it (error message screen cap below). Just in case, I wiped the phone and flashed again just to be sure, same result. The OTA Updater is important as this is where you can change kernals, audioFX stuff, toggle advanced power menus, and quite a bit more. When I used this ROM during the first part of the year OTA Updater worked just fine but I switched off in July to try another ROM so maybe something with the ROM has changed? I tried searching for any comments in the thread to indicate either that something changed with OTA Updater or if anyone else had a similar problem, found nothing. Would appreciate if anyone might know why OTA Updater isn't working or how I might correct it. Thanks.


Edit: I haven't changed the model number to SGH-M919 (as seen in the screen cap) in build.prop yet as if I can't get this ROM to work right I'll need to flash something else.

Need td ROM version for redmi note

Can any one provide me a link to newest stable version for redmi note td-scdma except that of xiomi server I tried many time to download from there with no success it's very urgent my note is in bootloop and factory reset didn't help please if any one can provide a mirror for the ROM I searched the web for an alternative with no success the Chinese ROM link is http://bigota.d.miui.com/JHECNBL41.0...e6f5f8_4.2.zip but I couldn't download it ...if any one can make a mirror for this it will be great help .. Samsung Pay Q&A - Everything you need to know

Hello fellow xda members. Looking around the forums, I noticed many questions posted regarding Samsung pay, so I will create this thread to keep all information and questions regarding Samsung Pay in one location, rather than spread across different threads.

The following are questions that I have seen the most, with simple answers that keep being asked time after time. If you have other questions feel free to ask.

1) Q: Will samsung pay work with root?

need help with recovery

I flashed on my M7 cwm with flashify and installed the Rom which is based on eumi. Now I want LP for my mate but cant flash the stock recovery.img. I had a backup but it was on the phone and not on my SD card and i wiped it :( now i need help to get back to the stock recovery but if I flash a recovery.img which i extracted with the HW extractor tool i come to the recuse mod :( pls help :)

NEED HELP!! Moto g no OS installed

I did everything needed for installing CM 12.1 and the thing is i did a backup and after that i wiped the needed things, not the internal storage, and when i wanted to install the CM 12.1 the zip was not there, soo i wanted to restore it but the backup wasnt there either, now im stuck with a moto g without an os, can someone help me?

but recently i find out its in very very low brightness condition .

Need help accessing Android Recovery Screen on an off brand tablet

I work for a small tablet company that doesn't have the strongest or smartest leadership. Recently, the company unveiled a new flagship tablet that runs pretty much stock Android 5.0. The problem is, the place where it was made (in China) did not program the ability to boot into the Android Recovery screen. There is an option to get into from the settings menu and I have been able to access it a few times (maybe five or six times out of 50 tries) by holding the power button and tapping the volume + five times. Is there any way that I can find out EXACTLY what steps I need to take to enter the AR screen consistently? I've tried most of the more common methods (volume plus and power, volume minus and power, etc.).
