XT1053 20 sec reboot loop

XT1053 yesterday got into a never-ending reboot loop on around 20th second of loading up. I think the phone had the latest firmware update on it.

I tried to upload a new firmware:

GHOST_RETAIL_5.1_LPA23.12-15_cid9_CFC
RETAIL-US_4.4.4_KXA21.12-L1.29.1_2_cid9_CFC_1FF
TMO_5.1_LPA23.12-15_15

Using RSDLite 6.1.5

I always get:

downgraded security version
update gpt_main version failed
preflash validation failed for GPT

Any ideas how to proceed?

P.S. XT1053 is a US *unlocked* version purchased directly from Motorola.

Galaxy Tab S root - odin - pc - stuck in reboot

I picked up a used tablet from a friend who had a tablet stuck in reboot..

it's a AT&T tablet that he tried to root..

SKU 6619A (10+ inch)

I'd like to just use ODIN and wipe the whole tablet and start over with root and a custom recovery/basic rom. I'm new to this brand of tablet.. but I imagine TWRP works or something similar.

Suggestions on the version (and link) of Odin I should use and the best ROM that will give me a basic load, custom recovery and latest version of Android would be appreciated.

I can't boot into the OS.. so using some of those tools isn't an option at this time.

I'm not going to be using ATT network for anything (the SIM card is actually removed). I just want wifi access on it. I'm not going to use any service provider. I could probably take it to a ATT store, but since I'm not using their network (I use sprint) I'm not sure if they'll want to charge me to wipe/reload it, if they'll do it at all.

Rooted N929C call reboot issue

Hello.

I flashed my note 5 stock rom with PhilZ recovery then I flashed SpaceX Kernel and everything is working fine except for the reboot issue. Whenever my call gets connected on cellular my mobile instantly reboots.

Can anyone help me fix this or is it just a bug waiting to be fixed?

Reboot problem - Failed to mount cache (Boot loop)

Hi guys,

I'm seeking your help in assisting me getting my tablet works again. It's Nexus 7 2012 with last updated Android version 5.1.1 (LMY47V). The problem started when the tablet suddenly restarted and the loading intro (that appears after Google's logo) didn't change for long time. I entered the recovery mode and tried to wipe cache partition unfortunately which made my problem worse! upon reboot I only get the Google logo repeatedly with no change!

The recovery logs are as follow:

E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E: Can't mount / cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open / cache/recovery/log

I've searched on the forum and found an opinion that I should download the Android Image from the developers.google website and unzip till I find a cache.img file, but it wasn't there after I've extracted the image zip file.

I've important data that I need to retrieve from the tablet. What should I do? Taking into consideration that I didn't unroot the tablet but I did make the undebugging step before (working with pdaNet).

Note 2 N7105 doesn't reboot after flashing to stock 4.4.2

I just have a serious problem with my Note 2 N7105. I bought this phone with a rooted 4.3 androit and everything worked fine beside using the automatic update function (over the air update of android).
Therefore I downloaded the german 4.4.2 from Sammobile and flashed it with odin.

Odin flashed completely with any errors . -> All threads completed. (succeeded: 1 / fail: 0)

But unfortunately it is not rebooting to androit nor reboot into recovery mode. After turning on the phone, I can see the samsung logo and after that it tried to boot and a red exclamation mark pops up and it's restarting again. The only possible thing is to get into the download mode again.
I also downloaded the german 4.3 version from sammobile and flased it with odin - but results stay the same.

I would be very happy about any help. Sorry in advance for my unprofessional explanation.

Problem with hot reboot

I've recently realize something strange with my m8 although it is not a recent issue. Whenever the i try to hot reboot my phone, the phone would not start up. However, the manual reboot is fine. So whenever an app requires hot reboot, I have to force the phone to shut down and boot again. Any ideas as to why?

1. U need a rooted phone
2.xposed installed
3.browse to download module in xposed three search for (APM+) Android power menu.
4.Then activate and reboot
5.Then open (APM+) there you'll option to add commands there choose what you want to add..

Moto G 2013 Keep reboot to recovery after bricked

HI, I have a Moto G XT1034 on hand with strange issue.
The phone was not able to boot up correctly, will stuck on Android screen.
I am managed to root the phone, and install TWRP, and load up 5.1 version ROM.

But every time phone reboot, it will boot to recovery mode, and I have to select reboot to bootloader and in bootloader select BP Tools (or other option) in order to boot up the phone

What is wrong with my phone? I have try re-flash the ROM, but nothing changes.:mad:

Reboot Loop, No Power Button

Recently my Galaxy S2 got shut into a reboot loop, which would be alright, if I had a functiong power button. Wthout the power button, I can't enter recovery mode to restore the phone. I've already tried to use ADB Fastboot, but since I have been getting the MTP USB Device driver failure, ADB won't notice my phone.
Any suggestions?

We are using Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) with Kitkat 4.4.2. The rom model is G900FXXU1ANG9_G900FOXX1ANG5_G900FXXU1ANG8_HOME_Fix
In edition mode (sms, email, ...), we experienced an unexpected reboot after 30 seconds / 1 minute
This happens in some IMEI series, not all the phones

Do you experienced the same problem ?

Phone reboot after lolipop G900VVZW2BOG5 installation

I have one Verizon s5. It stuck in reboot loop.
I tried to go in recovery buy it again stuck on recovery booting screen but never go in recovery.
I tried to install stock lollipop (BOG5) rom through odin3.09 and Odin 3.10.7 and it show me pass but still it stuck in reboot loop and no recovery.

Alldaymall A88S stuck after "adb reboot bootloader"

Hi,

I guess I brought myself into trouble today.

I have an alldaymall A88S 8GB tablet which I have bought on eb*y. Today I sent a "adb reboot bootloader" to it. That resulted in a mode where a little green robot is visible in the middle of the screen.

Now I can't power down the device. Pressing the power button results into a dark screen and then the green robot again. Power+Vol leads to the same.

Adb and fastboot show no device. lsusb still lists the device.

Any suggestions?

Reboot issues

Regardless how I issue the reboot.

Even with the official power menu.

Sometimes it fails to reboot. Have to battery pull to turn it back on.

I've clean flashed & full wiped various roms. Stocks. Aosps.

Doesn't seem to be a rom issue.

What else could it be ?

htc update reboot to twrp recovery

when i try to apply update it goes straight to twrp. where is the update stored after downloading?
