My Idol 3 have a popping sound from speaker after 2-3 seconds after the music or the sound from it finished. With other words when the speakers shut down the power, sometimes (more then 50%) speakers pops. I notice that is more often in Youtube app or notification sound then in Poweramp app for example (remember: the pops sound i hear only after the sound stops, when playing music there is no problem) . The sound is not so powerfull but you can hear it if you are in a quiet room or if you put the phone closer to the ears. How about you guys? Is my phone defective?

[PORT REQUEST] Sound Quality Mod for Z2
Hi guys. I know there are a few sound mods for our Z2, but those mods don't affect the quality, just increasing the volume and making notifications sound stereo. So there's my question: is there someone who can make or port us a mod that actually improves sound quality? There were a few projects (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...sound-t2887796 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...ve-to-t2890784), but they're dead, like, for a year. I though someone could port this mod (with OP's permission ofc.) http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...-v11z-t2900697 because I think it's the best for every Z at the moment. What do you think about it? :)

Any way to only enable sound notification for texts?
I haven't figured out how to stop notification sounds on emails while allowing them for texts. I get over 100 emails a day between my email accounts and am going nuts. Is there a way to only allow sound alerts for texts? It seems that you have to have sound alerts for emails & messages or no alerts at all. Am I just missing something in the settings? I came from a Note 3 which allowed me to set up sound alerts for everything individually. I only want text alerts. Any apps out there anyone can reccomend for the G4? I'm tired of hearing the phone alerts in the middle of the night when the spam emails are rolling in. Thanks in advance.
Nexus 6p Camera shutter sound?
Hoping anyone can shine some light on this.
Interested if this phone has the ability to turn off the shutter sound from the camera app, not just turning down the volume as a solution. I have had an S6 and the Moto X Pure and they have the option to disable the shutter sound. I am asking because I have seen other devices that do not let you do this through the stock camera app. AND yes I know we don't know much about this phone, but if anyone can shine some light on this that would be awesome because I am planning NOT to root the device.
Thanks!

[HELP] NO SOUND AT ALL! i9505/m919
I have been trying to fix this S4 (M919) which came without a T-Mobile rom (In Australia) and I have ran into audio problems over the past few days. I have attempted to fix it by recovering the modem but that did not help. I read about others fixing their phones with a simple flash but those i9505 firmwares do not work with this device. I flashed the T-Mobile firmware to see if it would work but still no sound (plus its not a T-Mobile SIM but that can be fixed by flashing CM12.1 :) )
It also says that in download mode it is a M919 but underneath the battery, it's a GT - I9505 O_o (what?)
I have tried flashing: modem_CWM_UVUAMDL, M919UVUFOH3, GSM_Modem_XXUFNA5 (FAIL), Albe95_S6_PORT_V4-5 (Same problem as other roms 'no sound' and BL_I9505XXUHOA7_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERTXX
Roms I tried: CM 12.1, CM 11, Slimrom Lollipop unofficial, Albe95_S6_PORT_V4-5 and some t-mobile based rom.
NOTE: I do not use T-Mobile, however t-mobile packages work but I still have 0 sound from speakers & ear piece.
Right now it is on CM 12.1 nightly build (jfltexx) + open gapps (Still no sound)
So can someone help me? Whenever I press volume controls, the phone would lockup (only on stock) and on other roms, there is also no sound (earpiece & speakers) also music players tend to crash (Such as AudioFX) . Please help me out! :(

Scrolling responsiveness and volume level confirmation sound.
I've been using Samsung for a while but I have used some other phones from LG, HTC, Oppo, Sony.
The last phone that I have had before the G4 was a Galaxy S5 (which I gave to my wife).
I really miss the scrolling on the S5, which is like iPhones if I'm not mistaken. Very responsive and quick to react to our touches. I move in the direction that I want and it does its best to follow my finger, while on the G4 it lags behind and takes its time. I had an HTC M9 before the G4 and I've used a Nexus 5 since my mother has it and those phones are also slow in scrolling and feel like they lag behind. Sure they're all smooth but I don't like how slow it is. I don't feel like I have that much control like I did on the S5.
My Asus touchscreen laptop has a very good touch response as well, same as on the S5 and it's better than on my G4 lol, interesting huh.
I am sure that it is software related and that it comes from Google's stock and bad scrolling behavior. It's not LGs fault.
I am wondering if someone knows of a tweak to improve scrolling?
I am rooted so I can do changes to build.prop.
About the volume confirmation sound when changing volume (the ringtone one), does anyone know where I can find the volume sound file? I checked in system/media and didn't find it there. On the S5 it is there and I can rename the file to disable that annoying Google stock sound. I really like HTC's implementation of volume change, the notification sound is great and the type of sound changes depending on how loud or low. It's the only one that doesn't make me want to disable it.
I found a txt file, if I recall correctly, about the volume change but it has a bunch of numbers inside it..
Thanks in advance!

[Guide][Root] Removing the charging full sound
The sleep deprivation torture device called the LG G4 shall torture our souls no more. I don't know what went through the minds of the one(s) incompetent enough to think that it would be wise that this phone should make a loud noise when finished charging (even when in priority mode), but here's how to get rid of it.
Might be applicable to other devices (LG G3? G2?). I'm not sure, though, so don't hang me up on it. I haven't found a guide anywhere on Google, and it took me a long while before I figured out this solution, despite its simplicity.
Requires root. Unless you find some other way to move/remove system files.
Steps:
1. Make sure you have root.
2. Install and/or open your favourite root file browser app (ES File Explorer/Root Explorer/Dora the explorer/whatever your preference is)
2.1. Depending on your file explorer, you might have to remount the /system partition as read/write.
2.2. When using ES File Explorer specifically, make sure Root Explorer is on.
3. Navigate to /system/media/audio/ui/
4. Observe the source of your suffering: FullBattery.ogg
5. Remove it, rename it or replace it with an ogg file containing John Cena's theme
See bottom of post for screenshot showing this process in ES File Explorer.
Alternative steps: With adb shell
What to do when you don't have root:
While the sound does play in priority mode, it doesn't play when the phone is in "No Interruptions" mode. That can be exploited in a very dirty hack:
1. Install and/or open your favourite automation tool (Tasker, Condi, whatever)
2. Create the following profile:
- When charging AND
- Battery percentage is between 99% and 100%
- Set to No Interruption Mode
3. Create another profile:
- On the event that the battery is full
- Set the interruption mode to all or priority, depending on your preference (I like my phone being in Priority Mode when I sleep)
Note:
- This approach is hacky
- it has failed me at seemingly random times (I don't know why)
- inserting the power cable while the battery is between 99 and 100 percent will make it stay on No Interruption mode indefinitely.
- There's a window of time in which you will be completely unreachable, even if you want to be.
In short: this solution isn't that great. Use the root solution above.

Whatsapp Calling Sound Issue
Hi everyone,
On my Mega 5.8, whenever I call or receive call on Whatsapp, the other person can hear me, but I can't hear the other person when I'm using the phone's earpiece. If I plug in earphones, or put the call on loudspeaker, then I can hear the other person just fine.
I know the earpiece isn't broken because it works when I make/receive cellular and facebook calls.
Does anyone know a solution to this? I've tried reinstalling whatsapp, resetting the phone to factory settings, reinserting the sim card.
