i have a Verizon s4 . its unlocked. i am using it in india . i cant find any lollipop firmware without Verizon carrier . how do i upgrade my device to 5.0 ?

4g LTE broken on verizon m8 after travel

Hello,
My HTC m8 on verizon was working great with 4G LTE until I traveled and used an alternative SIM. Now I can only use 3G. My brother is on the same account and we swapped sim cards. The phone was still stuck in 3G. My SIM connected to 4G LTE on his iphone. Verizon reset a bunch of stuff on the network side (never really sure quite what they are doing when I call). I checked the APN and tried most of the options without luck. I'm not sure what the settings should be, so that would seem to be a good place to start. Verizon sent me a new SIM, but I'm hesitant to go through the trouble of swapping it since it doesn't seem to be an issue with the SIM.

Anyone have the correct APN settings? Any other suggestions for troubleshooting?
Someone on reddit had the same issues (xda won't let me post links yet). I contacted them, but I haven't heard back.

Stock ROM on Nexus 6 Verizon

Hi, I have a nexus 6 on Verizon running Euphoria OS and I want to go back to the stock ROM so I can get marshmallow when it comes out. I've looked online and when I run the flash-all.bat it says it can't load the bootloader and everything else. I don't care if I lose my data, I just want to get the stock ROM. Any help?

Hi,Im first time rooter and i have a problem to understand the whole story about this. I found all the step by step instructions how to root it to 5.1 lollipop(as much i understood i need to root it on kk and after to flash it to lollipop) but my concern is how to downgrade firmware from 21.21.15quark_verizon.en.us to firmware 21.44.12. so i can do a rooting after. I was digging all over internet especially on this forum and i couldn't find any instructions how to do it. I will need step by step about this. Please if there is anybody that can help me i would appreciate his help. Thank you

Un Lock & ReRoot Verizon HTC One M8

So I thought I had to return my HTC one for repair, or replacement and I RELOCKED the bootloader an UNRooted it. I can find a hundred different threads (mostly out of date) with instructions.

Originally I reloaded original Verizon firmware and watched the phone update little by little up to 5.01.

Does anyone know how to unlock and re root my phone? The last thing I thought of was trying to reload the original KitKat back on the phone if that is even possible???

(Please Help!) Hard Bricked Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (Verizon)

:crying: So... I am a young teenage boy, who got an android, Samsung galaxy S3 Mini for my birthday, and I have had it for a year, I used an app to unlock the boot loader, but I was so happy that I turned it off before the operation was done I think, since I turned it off right when it got root access, I feel like I wanna kill myself, for reals...

I told my dad everything, he threw me at the the wall, shook me violently, and he raised his fist at me, I was terrified, and now I am trying to fix it with only a USB and Computer, no SD card since my damn uncle took my best one, my 32GB SD, and I have no JTAG or any modding device...

Please help, NOTHING HAPPENS, when I try to go into the boot loader, recovery mode, or factory mode, and it does not even show a LED light or it won't even buzz...

My friend had it for about a month, and he said once he held the power button for about a half an hour, and he said it quickly buzzed, but then nothing else happened...

I almost do not believe him so far, and I tried plugging it into my computer, it says everything is working fine, it detects it and everything, but I cannot go into the file system and Odin does not detect it... Please help!

Also, if my computer at LEAST detects it,or if it buxzed, can I fix it without a JTAG or SD card?

Need Verizon Update Assistant for S6 Edge

Can someone please upload the Verizon upgrade Assistant from their S6 Edge. I may be able to fix this soft brick with it since it won't connect to SmartSwitch at all. Tried different cables, and different PCs with different OS's it always says Unsupported Device no matter the combo! I began experiencing the infinite bootloop after using Odin to install 5.1.1 OG5 tar from http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...-tars-t3191419. The process completes successfully but my device will not get pass the S6 Edge boot screen, even after multiple wipes! If someone can upload the install files from their Verizon Edge I would be internally grateful!

Downgrading Note Pro 12.2 Verizon from 5.1.1 to 4.4.2?

I've updated the Verizon version of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and I really don't like it. There's too many instability issues that I haven't seen before! I rely heavily on the S-Note and it keeps crashing on me after a few minutes when it is opened up. I can write for a bit but then it just stops working and brings me back to the home screen. The other problem is the SD Card. I never had an issue with it before, but I am now! Sometimes it goes missing when I go into a file manager looking for a document. And it occasionally freezes up!

I never had this problem before with KitKat 4.4.2, and I want it back!

Now I've tried using ODIN 3.10.7, 3.07, and 3.09, but I can't get it to connect. It keeps saying "added!! removed!!" when I try to use Home-Volume Down-Power" to reboot in Odin mode.

So does anyone have any suggestions on how I can downgrade?

Verizon LG G3 won't go into recovery mode.

Finally rooted my Verizon LG G3 but now I can't get it into recovery mode. When I press the volume up + power button it goes into some download mode and a firmware update screen shows up but it's stuck at 0%. I tried going into recovery mode from quickboot but when the phone restarts, it just says "secure booting error" in small letters in the top left side of the screen and power offs. I think my phone is bricked. Any help would be appreciated

Using Verizon in Mexico with the Pure... Not that easy

So, my wife and I are heading to Mexico next week and I wanted to be able to have international usage for emergencies. My wife is using the S6 edge purchased through VZW and I of course have my X Pure. We were able to add an Int'l plan on her line but with mine it didn't work. The call got escalated to support and the rep mentioned that the phone may not be in registered in the system (I just cut my micro-sim and placed it in the pure). He said he was going to fill out a form adding the IMEI to the system and that should fix the issue in 3 business days. Have any of you guys heard of this?

Verizon M8 CM12.1 - 4G/GPS not working

Hey everybody,

Don't know if this is in the right place, but hopefully you all can direct me to the right place if need be.

I've got a Verizon M8 with S-OFF running the relatively recent Cyanogenmod 12.1 snapshot. All was well until about a week ago. I was having some issues with not getting 4G LTE reception prior to this, but about a week ago it completely died. I'm in the middle of a major city, where I should have no problem getting 4G reception. My phone is only on 3G at all times, and sometimes loses connection completely. Along with this, my GPS will lock initially get a first signal but not lock on at all.

I've tried clean flashing CM again, going back to complete Verizon stock using the HTC RUU, factory resetting, etc. I even went to the Verizon store and tried a new SIM card. Nothing has helped or changed this issue. Nobody else in my area is having any problems with Verizon.

I'm really unsure what to do. Is my phone completely borked? Is there any diagnostic utility I can run in order to test my phone's network ability? I was reading earlier about some "secret codes" to put in, but am unsure.
