Temperature sensor question

I'm wondering what the tz_sensor 8 is for?
I'm thinking it's measuring ambient/room temperature as it's always lower than the other sensors and it roughly room temp.

I'm guessing the others to be for device temperature.

Does anyone know for sure?

Which camera sensor? Sony or Samsung

According to the company they used 2 different camera sensor in this phone which is completely depending on your luck which one you will buy:confused:. So i am asking you guys if anyone have this phone with samsung sensor . make a little review and upload some samples. and let us know is it same as sony one.because the sony sensor performed very well in low light.

Proximity sensor problems.

Cant get screen to turn on in a dark room, installed proximity sensor apps says its connected but it reads 0cm as something is extreamly closed, can anyone else tell me if they get A different read ?

Proximity sensor isn't working

Hey everyone, when I am in a call and I take my phone away from my face, it takes a good 5 seconds for the screen to come on. I downloaded an app to read the sensors, and when I uncover the sensor, it stays at 0.00 cm. I've already tried getting the Verizon Hidden Menu back to see if I can calibrate it, but I always get the following error when running the `am` command:

Proximity sensor manager wakelock (Lollipop 5.11)

Is it normal with 1h 45 min talk time to have 1h 35min proximity sensor manager wakelock? This is a huge wakelock according to Better Battery Stats. Any way to lower it?

[Q] Bad Proximity Sensor?

Hey guys, so the last couple of times I've made calls I noticed my screen would stay on during the calls. My ear would be pressing buttons during the calls causing havoc.

So I did a little research and found the hidden menu to test the proximity sensor, which is *#0*# on the dial pad. In doing so if your sensor is working correctly, at the sensor menu, the screen well turn green if the proximity sensor is covered. Mine doesn't, do I just assume my sensor went out or is there a procedure I can do to get it working again?

Proximity Sensor Problem !!!

Hi All,

Anyone encounter Proximity Sensor problem on the P8000 model, my P8000 having problem when i making an call the screen just On and OFF blinking and sometime totally BLANK SCREEN even after i have pull away from my ear.

There are nothing block on top of the sensor, and i have remove the Tempered glass seem like not help.

Just want to know whether this problem is cause by the sensor hardware itself or the software?

Anyknow how to calibrate the Proximity sensor?

Hight way to disable Proximity Sensor on CM11?

But now my defy+ presented ploblems on proximity sensor.
I try many ways to solve this problem using apps (includinding "hardware disabler") but nothing works and when works the sistem crashes and reboots are frequently.

but is for CM 10 and nowi ask how to disable proximity sensor on CM 11 ??? :confused:

Proximity sensor doesn't work during phone calls

My screen goes black when I am in a phone call and it does not turn on unless I hold the power button or something like that. I have already went to the proximity settings to test that it is working.

Any ideas?

Galaxy Note 4 fingerprint sensor not working after Lollipop 5.1.1 update

My Galaxy Note 4 nobrand, ITV, received OTA update 5.1.1
I made the update and everything is good but I'm unable to register fingerprints to use the sensor.
It requests 10 registrations to save the fingerprint but after 2 or 3, it hangs... It doesn't recognize any more fingerprint and I'm unable to register and use the sensor.

I also made a full wipe and the problem persists.

Fingerprint sensor worked fine with previous android versions (kitkat and Lollipop 5.0.1).

Anyone got this issue? How to resolve?
