Downgrade advice after latest Lollipop Upgrade

I've been reading a few threads but since I have an AT&T Note 3 there seems to be a ton of jargon I'm having a hard time picking up on, I've done a few previous Android phones but those seemed to have a guide where everything was exactly what I had and it just worked step by step. I have a fully stock Note 3

Baseband version:
N900AUCUEOC2

Kernel version
3.4.0-4335446
dpi@SWHD4309 #1
Fri July 31 21:47:49 KST 2015

Build Number:
LRX21V.N900AUCUEOC2

Every OTA update something seems to happen on this Note 3, GPS issues on one, battery on another and now it's Wifi issues along with missing text messages. (both of which suck the most). I've never rooted or flashed this phone, either I would like to go back to 4.4.2 or maybe try another rom but I'm having a real hard time figuring out all the steps since it seems any time there's an update they all change, towelroot, safestrap, kingo root, heimdall, MJ5, etc hell are the notes in the main post for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 All-In-One Resource Thread still good?

Basically I figure I would take it back to 4.4.2 and run that for a month and see if texting, gps and battery are stable, that's my big three. Getting rid of the Samsung bloat and flashing a new rom are secondary at this point. I've done the whole wipe and factory reset the phone a few times but I still can't shake this texting bug where sometimes it silently stops working, tried the built in Messaging app, switched to Google Messenger and even tried Handcent and Go SMS Pro with the same results, texts stop coming in randomly, I can send out but replies never show up and rebooting the phone doesn't cause them to show up, they are just gone but a reboot will restore the ability to receive texts.

How do I downgrade from Lollipop?

So I remember my excitement when I saw that my beloved Tegra Note 7 showed me that the 5.1 OTA is available. Needless to say, the excitement died down after a week or so of using the tablet. The problem that bothers me the most is battery drain. In just about 10 hours in standby mode with WiFi off, my battery reduced 13%. I take it off the charger at 100%, WiFi on, in standby mode and viola, in 10 minutes, 3-4% battery drain with no activity at all. Now I hardly get more than 2-3 hours of activity out of it but when I was using Kitkat, oh boy. 2 days in standby with WiFi off and 1-2% battery loss.....Amazing. Also, I miss the power control so much <3 (I really don't think the Activity Launcher way to get the SHIELD Power Control Menu works at all)

Now I really want to downgrade it to Kitkat but have absolutely no clue how to do so. I'm not rooted currently and I've tried searching in the forum for existing topics for but couldn't find any. It'd be great if someone wrote a 'For Dummies' guide as to how to downgrade from Lollipop on an unrooted device in the simplest way possible.

It is okay to downgrade?

Does anyone knows if something could go wrong if I downgrade from lollipop to kit kat?

SM-G900T3 Downgrade to KitKat?

I just got a Galaxy S5, and it came with Lollipop installed (5.1.1). I'd like to downgrade it to KitKat (4.4.2) but no KitKat Firmware for this exact model is available. However, there is 4.4.2 Firmware available for the SM-G900T and the SM-G900T1. Would the Firmware for one of these models work? Thanks.

Downgrade bootloop

I've made a horrible mistake.
I was on 5.9.16, tried to downgrade by flashing system, recovery, cust and crc.
Unfortunately I've done it with B316, which is 4.4.4, so i got this annoying bootloop, in which i can't access recovery, bootloader or use the 3 buttons method.
It seems as if the phone tries to forcefully boot into system ignoring everything I do.
I tried draining the battery to turn it off, which worked, but when i charged it it tried to system boot as soon as there's enough battery.
Any ideas?

Safe to install OTA after downgrade?

I made the mistake to install the new stagefright fix OTA on my rooted XT1095. Of course this made my phone stuck on boot. I was able to fix my phone by flashing this stock rom (Thanks AGISCI!).

I would like to return to 100% stock now by installing the latest recovery image provided by Motorola (L-5.1-LPE23.32-21.3 TMO) and than taking the stagefright OTA. Would this be safe without a chance of bricking my phone? My understanding is that I would brick my device by flashing an older modem version on my phone. Is there a way to find out what modem version my phone is currently on?

Thanks for your help!

Moto Voice on KitKat after downgrade from Lollipop

I have an unlocked XT1060 (not dev edition). Was running Krypton 1.4 KitKat (4.4.4) for a long time, but decided to try out Lollipop. Didn't like it, so restored KitKat from TWRP backup. Everything is working fine, except Google Play Store is showing an update for Moto Voice app. If I install this update, it prompts me to retrain activation phrase, but microphone doesn't recognize any sound during retraining, and "OK Google Now" doesn't work. If I uninstall the Moto Voice update, "OK Google Now" works again. Any way I can prevent Play Store from wanting to update Moto Voice?

Successfully downgrade from BOG5 Kernel to ANY Kernel. (Solved)

Recently Verizon has shown their true colors. They do NOT want to give us control of a device that we bought and paid for. (That's like buying a radio that only plays Country).

In my eyes. If we pay you monthly then why do you care what we do with our device? We own it right?

However, after days of researching and very knowledgeable co-workers..... The solution is here.

ODIN 3.10. That's Correct. ODIN 3.10 has the ability to look past the locked bootloader and grant access to roll back. This was not made to be public but (Thank GOD) was leaked on Aug 26th.

You can download ODIN 3.10 here: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/downlo...d-odin-3-10-6/

I have not yet tried to root after rolling back to the BOA8 Kernel. Anyone want to test this out and let me know if you were able to root after downgrading?

Problem with "cannot read update.bin" in 4.6.4 to 4.6.3 downgrade

I have 4.6.4 AT&T OS and I want to downgrade to 4.6.3 unlock OS. In recovery mode the phone is connected with computer, I see serial number and "sideload" next, the update.bin file is in ADB folder, but at next step I get the message
"cannot read update.bin" . I run Win 10 on computer, I try also on Win 7, same problem. I downloaded
4.6.3 unlock OS first with Microsoft Edge, it has .zip extension, then downloaded with Chrome it came with .bin extension, neither one work. Any ideas ? Because I run out.
