First boot problem, stuck in bootloop

Hello, a friend of mine bought a moto x play black today, he buy it online, but the phone keep restarting itself after a few seconds of use and go in bootloop. We turn it off, turn it on again, it work for 20-30 sec and it restart again and go in bootloop. We made a few tries but we always get the same problem. There is a chance to fix it or we must give it back and ask for a refund?

Hi,Im first time rooter and i have a problem to understand the whole story about this. I found all the step by step instructions how to root it to 5.1 lollipop(as much i understood i need to root it on kk and after to flash it to lollipop) but my concern is how to downgrade firmware from 21.21.15quark_verizon.en.us to firmware 21.44.12. so i can do a rooting after. I was digging all over internet especially on this forum and i couldn't find any instructions how to do it. I will need step by step about this. Please if there is anybody that can help me i would appreciate his help. Thank you

First battery cycle on S6

So I got my s6 last night and did the first battery cycle from 100% to 5% and almost got 5 hours SOT...while this is not that bad, the cell standby bothers me.
I've never seen it that high on any of my previous devices.

It's almost midnight and my phones back to 100% so I'm gonna leave it unplugged til 7am and see how much it drained.

When I press any keyboard button will go to Settings screen first.

Both on stock 4.2.1 and OmniROM 5.1.1 I got a problem with keyboard dock. Sometimes, when I press any keyboard button, then it will go to Settings screen first.
For example, after unlocking lock screen, I press the Down button, then it will go to Settings screen, after that, I just can use keyboard normally without go to Settings screen.

Is this a known issue or it's normal? Thanks for any help. :)

I've done aroma one that had multiple choice options,but unfortunately you had to do all of this, manually because aroma is not being that good. This time you won't even have to go to the recovery! Simple root on your phone, locked bootloader will do the job. You'll more likely have a root than recovery, especially at the start of your journey. First up it will only work for c6903 lollipop, as it'll be still in alpha, ad free for a single, but most popular Z1 shared entirely on xda. Then after that we'll roll it on Google play, ad supported but compatible on many sony devices. Then, something big will come, part after part, but a game changer for android.


Get ready for it.

TLDR; C6903 LP on any stock Sony rooted LP (android 5.x+) you Install the app use it and you're good. No recovery, no bull****. Will extend to other devices as soon as it's get enough testing. The sooner you try it, the sooner it will expand.

[KERNEL] HTC First CM-based Kernel

CM-based kernel for the HTC First

The JB Kernel source released by HTC is lacking, to say the least, for anything aosp or cm-based. This port of the CM-maintained MSM8960 kernel should future proof the HTC First for at least 1-2 more Android releases.

The kernel works with a port of CM11 I have been working on and will release soon.

Misc notes:
- Holding power key will not reset phone anymore as this functionality isn't implemented in gpio_input and I have no intention of doing so. Instead, the phone can be hard reset by holding power+vol up+vol down simultaneously

Phone when power, he boot first in Recovery

When power phone, he dont show system, he first boot in Recovery, how fix this?.

Hi everyone.
Really struggling with my OPT.
It's really slow.
I have rooted and unlocked the boot loader. So I was on 2.0.2 then 2.0.2 then 2.1.0.
Each time the phone is very large between windows, between key presses, swipes.

Got a great antutu score of 58k.
But I cannot figure out why it's slow.

Press middle button takes about 2 seconds to load. Menu selects and swipes lag with 2 seconds.
Even typing this is taken around 10 minutes.

Any one got any advise?

My first Sony Phone.. how to get the basics done?

Could someone give me a super quick guide on how to get this on my phone? I coming from years of Samsung phones and never owned a Sony before or know anything about it. I have CM on all my Samsung devices for years and simply want a CM ROM in the Z and get it done with with. I picked up a 99% like new second-hand Ultra Z LTE C6833 today, has stock 5.02 and I don't have a clue how to get this flashed in the easiest and simplest way possible. As for locked or not bootloader, I also don't have a clue. First step which is to install TWRP I immediately got stuck because the links posted are dead (teamw.in/project/twrp2/219)

Without wanting to waste anyone's time, if someone could give me the simplest and most painless info on how to get the Z flashed, I'd be super appreciative. The threads on this phone are in the hundreds at this point and I read all sorts of very confusing and contradictory info. I worry to kill or brick it immediately before I even get started.

First steps with Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70

First at all, my apologies if I posted in a wrong forum section. I certainly can't say that at this point I understand much of these forums structure.

Anyway, so I got a tablet computer which I know by the name of:

Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70

and in reference to this, what I also know by this point is that the name I just provided you and the one that I have on the box is not the one everybody recognises it by, because whenever I try to google the problems I'm interested to solve, the names of lenovo tablets that people use are completely different than what I just shared above. I also haven't yet figured out how do you convert one to the other. It's like... Mine is that TAB 2 whatever, while what people actually use (on the internet) is Lenovo Axxx, etc. I certainly haven't seen anybody discussing the issues of these by referring to the model with what I have on the box. Why don't they?

Aside from the model name thing, what I really want to understand is, how can I start using it without it taking actions I'm warned about the manual. Let me quote:

Z5 to be first flagship with dual sim in india

Z5 indian support site lists the new flagship as dual variant which was not the case few days back.
Th japanes giant mybe gearing up for first dual variant in indian market.
Looking at the dual sim variants history
They get very late updates, they have lesser support from oem, and are not widely used in case of flagship.
So let's see what will happen to their flagship looking at the last phone which fell face down.
Personally i thought of getting one but having some not so good experience in past i would surely avoid it.
